The Company was founded in 1954 and incorporated four years later. While working for private construction firms, each of the four founding brothers gained experience in his specific field of construction - plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry - thus providing a sound basis for establishing their own company.

Initially, the Company built private residences. Gradually, construction projects extended into nonresidential works such as schools, nursing homes, professional offices, and industrial complexes. Through the years, Deig Bros. Construction has been engaged in all phases of nonresidential construction including new work, additions, alterations, remodeling, and repairs at a variety of construction sites such as private businesses, manufacturing facilities, industrial complexes, and public works projects (highway and bridge improvements, sewer installation, water and sewage treatment facilities, parks, levee and lake construction).

Deig Bros. Construction offers a wealth of experience and expertise in general construction work, site work, excavation, utilities, structural work, heating, plumbing, process piping, painting, electrical and equipment installation, while operating primarily within a 100 mile radius of its home base in Evansville, Indiana.

The Company has steadily grown from a small contractor with an employment force of approximately 25 in its early years, to a current average of 200 employees. Deig Bros. proudly employs the following union craftsmen:

Deig Bros. Construction has participated at virtually all levels of contracting on construction projects, including serving as either the prime contractor or a subcontractor. We have also acted as one or more of a variety of separate prime contractors, working for the owner, architect, engineer or for a construction manager. Our experience includes a number of design - build projects. Deig Bros. works on a time and material, negotiated contract, or a unit price basis.

Deig Bros.' experienced workforce, extensive equipment fleet, and nearly 50 years in the construction industry, enable us to fulfill the demands of even the most challenging construction projects. Our workforce is comprised of skilled craftsmen from all construction trades and a team of innovative, dedicated project managers and supervisors. Together they pool their talents to provide excellent workmanship and a customer-focus throughout the construction process. Providing quality construction services, while maintaining a safe work environment are our top priorities.

We understand the customer needs to have the project completed on schedule. Changes occurring during the job require ongoing dialogue among the owner, architect, and contractor. Our construction team maintains good communication to keep the affected parties informed, allowing us to respond quickly to these changes, while keeping the project on schedule. We work with all parties involved to ensure the job is completed in an efficient manner and to the customer's satisfaction. Getting the job done is not enough. We want to be sure it is done right.
